Death
CLINTON, Jan. 31 — Mrs. Adell Furr Moore, 51, wife of S. Tandy Moore, died today at her home at 11 Beauregard street, Clinton mill after two years of declining health. She was a member of Calvary Baptist church. She was a native of North Carolina, but had lived in Laurens county for the past 30 years. She is survived by her husband; two sons, Cpl. John Perry, and Silas T. Moore, U. S. Navy; and one daughter, Bettie Frances Moore. Also surviving are three brothers, J. L. Furr, W. T. Furr, and P. C. Furr; and three sisters, Mrs. M. E. Smith, Mrs. T. M. Smith and Mrs. J. L. Finny. Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon at 4 o’clock at the Calvary Baptist church by Rev. W. B. Thorne, assisted by Rev. Ray Anderson, and Rev. Fred Rowe. Internment will be in Rosemont cemetery.The Greenville News, Greenville, South Carolina, February 1, 1945
