NATCHEZ — Services for Louella Furr Brown, 98, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, at her residence, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary Basilica with the Rev. David O’Connor officiating. Burial will follow at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

NATCHEZ-Funeral services for Louella Furr Brown, 98, of Natchez, who died Wednesday November 28, 2012 at her residence, will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, December 1, 2012 from St. Mary Basilica with the Rev. David O'Connor officiating. Interment will follow at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday, November 30, 2012 5-7 p.m. at Laird Funeral Home. Mrs. Brown was born August 9, 1914 in Brookhaven to parents Thomas J. Furr and Mary Coker Furr. She worked until the age of 90, first as bookkeeper for Geisenberger Drug Co. and retired from Wilson Holder Drug Store. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband William T. Brown Sr; brothers Frank Furr, Charles Furr and Luther Furr and sister Fannie Jean Hawkinson. Survivors include her son William T. Brown Jr. and wife Katherine, Natchez; daughter Ruth Mc Williams and husband Bob, Natchez; granddaughters Tracy Reynolds and husband Joe, Vidalia, LA and Melanie Waller and husband Scott, Brookhaven; grandson Robert McWilliams Jr and fiancée Amy Roth, Louisville, KY; great grandsons Spencer and William Reynolds and Drew Waller and great-granddaughters Alex Reynolds and Lori Waller. She is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Robert Mc Williams Jr., Spencer Reynolds, William Reynolds, Scott Waller, Drew Waller and Toby Maier. The family would like to express deep appreciation to caregivers Sandra Jenkins, Denise Thomas and Meeko Smith. Memorials may be made to St. Mary Basilica Family Life Center, 107 S.
