Death
Services for Mr. Calvin Furr, 87, of Hunt, who died Sunday, April 30, 1989 at his home, were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, 1989 at the Kerrville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Worth Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Japonica Cemetery in Hunt. Born April 22, 1902, in Kerrville, he married Beulah Mae Graham June 14, 1922, in Hunt. A lifetime resident of Kerr County, he was a stone mason from 1924 until 1956. He had been maintenance foreman for MO Ranch for thirteen years. Mr. Furr is survived by his wife Beulah; a daughter Millie Wildman of Somerset; a son Collin Furr of San Antonio; eight grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Memorials may be made to the Texas Lion's Camp tor Crippled Children in Kerrville, or Heart of the Hills Hospice. Kerrville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.Endnotes
