Luella (June) Hudson Williams, loving mother, wife, grandmother and great-grandmother, died peacefully in her home on November 11, 2020 at the age of 91. She and her late husband John (Jack) T. Williams were married for 63 years. June was a woman of deep faith who was a constant source of strength for her family. She was a bookkeeper for Corcoran, Peckham and Hayes of Newport before retiring and moving to Warwick. She lived a life of service and was always surrounded by friends and family. She was a Cub Scout den mother, a CCD teacher and a Child & Family Services volunteer. She was an active member of St. Peters church, a Centering Prayer Group member and a member of the Gaspee Seniors. She had a multitude of hobbies. She was a lover of words, which she indulged through constant reading, winning at Scrabble, and working through crossword puzzles. She enjoyed traveling, cruising, and cross-stitch. She was a deep thinker and loved engaging in debates.She is survived by her three daughters, Lynn Ryan and her husband Dick Ryan of Port Charlotte, FL, Deborah Temple of Warwick, RI, and Gail Furr of Punta Gorda, FL and her three sons, John Williams and his wife Mickie of Rehoboth, MA, Robert Williams and his wife Cheryl of Seekonk, MA, and Mark Williams and his wife Cindy, as well as 18 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at 10 AM in St. Peter Church, Fair St., Warwick. Burial and visiting hours will be private. Face masks are required and social distancing will be observed. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to ones favorite charity.Endnotes
