Death

Williams, John T., 85, of Anderson Ave, a retired electronics technician for NUSC, died Saturday, January 7, 2012 at Home & Hospice Care of RI. He was the beloved husband of Luella O. (Hudson) "June" Williams for 62 years and the son of the late Francis B. and Catherine (Walsh) Williams. Mr. Williams was a WWII Navy veteran and a member of the American Legion and Gaspee Seniors. He was the loving father of John F. Williams, Lynn M. Ryan, Deborah A. Temple, Robert L. Williams, Gail J. Furr, and Mark J. Williams. Brother of Helen Dauplaise, Frances Ide, Elizabeth Kerrigan and Barbara Gill. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. His funeral will be held Friday at 9 AM from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Peter Church, Fair Street. Burial with military honors will be in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
