Death
Helen Hartsell Parker, 92, of Albemarle, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2022 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis. Helen was born October 17, 1929 in North Carolina to the late Farrington Houston Hartsell and the late Lela Whitley Hartsell. She was also preceded in death by husband of 56 years, Craven Brantley Parker (1923–2008). Son: Joel Wayne Parker (1958-1978).Siblings:

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 1:45 pm, Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will follow on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at 2:00pm at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel in Albemarle officiated by Pastor Tony Thomas and Pastor David Blalock. Burial will immediately follow at the Kendalls Baptist Church Cemetery at 32157 Kendalls Church Road, New London.

Daughter-in-law, Kristi Almond and her sons, Bradley and Tyler; and many nieces and nephews.
Helen loved her family and put them first. She loved her church family and attending church at Immanuel Baptist Church as often as her health would allow. Helen also enjoyed gardening and loved her cats. Helen's family would like to express their deepest gratitude to all of the caregivers that have assisted her in the past few years. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Immanuel Baptist Church.
