Death
Augustus (Gus) Furr, 76, of 2374 Rosehaven, retired employee of Atlantic Ice Co, where he worked for 38 years and retired night watchman at the old Claridge Hotel, yesterday at Baptist Hospital. He leaves two sons, Donald Furr of the home and Clifford Furr of Memphis; a daughter, Nancy Augusta Furr of Missouri; a sister, Mrs. Lucille Jones of Pontotoc, Miss.: nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Hickory Flat, Miss., where he was a member, with burial in the church cemetery.
