Jimmy Jenkins Furr, 54, of 1300 Columbus St., Albemarle, died 9:40 p.m. Thursday, May 12, 2005, at Stanly Memorial Hospital. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, May 15, 2005, at Stanly Memorial Chapel with Darrell Furr officiating. Born Aug. 24, 1950 in Stanly County, he was the son of Helen Louise Andrews Furr and the late Roscoe Jenkins Furr. He is survived by a son, Larry Jenkins Furr of Albemarle and three grandchildren, Joshua Jenkins Furr, Cody Jacob Furr and Hannah Mae Murphy. The family will receive friends at the Stanly Funeral Home, Sunday from 1 to 2 p.m.The Stanly News and Press, Stanly County, North Carolina, May 15, 2005
