Death
Marvin Yow, 93 years of age, of Concord, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Carolinas Medical Center, NE in Concord. Marvin was born August 28, 1923 in North Carolina to the late George Washington Yow and the late Martha Furr Yow. He was a veteran of the US Army and served his country during WWII. He was a member of Coldwater Baptist Church 1045 Union St S. in Concord, NC. Marvin retired from Cannon Mills as a supervisor in the spinning department. Survivors include wife, Mildred Honeycutt Yow of Concord, NC; and son, David Wayne (Susan ) Yow of Charlotte, NC. Hartsell Funeral Home is serving the Yow family.Endnotes
