Death

Mrs. Furr, 77 of Lancaster passed away Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill. Graveside services will be conducted at 2 PM Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at Salisbury National Cemetery, 501 Statesville Blvd, Salisbury NC 28144, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband, Kenneth W. Furr who died in 2016. Her family will receive friends at the home of her daughter, Shannon Furr Davis, 2324 Continental Dr, Lancaster SC 29720 on Sunday, October 13th from 2 until 6 pm. Beverly was born September 10, 1942 in Greenville SC to the late Clifford Bleese and Edith Wood Phillips. She was a beautician and she enjoyed her work immensely. Her survivors include her children, daughters, Shannon Furr Davis and Christy Furr of Lancaster, and her son, Kenny Furr; grandson, Dakota Hood of Belmont; granddaughter, Kassie Hood of Lancaster; great-grandson, River Hood of Lancaster. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Brenda Sanderson of Belmont; nephew, George Neely; nieces, Sherry Millwood and Jan Morrison; great niece, Heather Millwood; and her great-great niece, Hadley Millwood. Beverly will be remembered as a strong but loving and devoted wife and mother who in recent years was dedicated to her grandchildren. She leaves behind many treasured memories.
