Death
SAXAPAHAW — Mrs. Martha Alice Furr Cox, 92, died Friday at Alamance Memorial Hospital after several years of failing health,. She was a native of Moore County and a retired employee of Sellers Manufacturing Co. She was a member of Hico Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held today at 11 a.m. in the Hico Baptist Church by the Rev. Billy Morene and the Rev, Larry Evans. Burial will be at 3 p.m. in the Tabernacle Methodist Church cemetery in Robbins. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Flonnie George of Saxapahaw, Mrs. Martha Moon of Burlington, Mrs. Ruby Yeatts of Leasburg, and Mrs. Grace House of Hopedale; five sons, Roy Cox of Saxapahaw, Obie Cox of Burlington, Grady Cox of Worthdale, Claude Cox of Graham and Edgar Cox of Norfolk, Va.; and 26 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.Endnotes
