Death

Clyde William Corzine, 90, of 74 Fenix Drive SE died Friday at Cabarrus memorial Hospital. Services will be held today at 4 p.m. at Associated Reform Presbyterian Church, where Mr. Corzine was an elder and oldest member. The Rev. John  Blumenstein will officiate, and interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery. The body will remain at Wilkinson Funeral Home until taken to the church 30 prior to services. The family will be at the residence during the remained of interim. Pallbearers will be John Bowles, Glenn Cochrane, Boyd Cochrane, David Irvin, Bill Irvin and J. G. Perkins. Mrs. Corzine was a native of Cabarrus County, Born Feb. 17, 1893, son of the late William and Margaret Stough Corzine. He was a retired textile employee and a member of Woodsmen of the World. His wife, Mary Whitley Corzine, preceeded him in death. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Margaret Campbell of the home, Mrs. Frances Linker of Concord, Mrs. Alice Snyder of Tampa , Fla., and Mrs. Janice Furr of Rockwell; three sons, Eugene Corzine of Danielsville, Ga., Jack Corzine and Joe Corzine both of Charlotte; 25 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchild.
