LANCASTER, SC, Mrs. Yvonne “Bootsie” Furr Wright, age 66, of 3445 Marty Lane, died Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at her home. She was born September 19, 1944 in Fort Benning, GA the daughter of the late Codell and Glennis Sizemore Furr and adopted parents, Ebbie and Minnie Furr Johnson and was the wife of Larry Wright. Mrs. Wright retired from Springs Industries and Duracell and was a member of Jones Crossroads Baptist Church. Mrs. Wright is survived by her husband, Larry Wright of the home, a son, Larry T. Wright and his wife Tammy of Lancaster, 3 daughters, Angela Wright of Pageland, Becky W. Horne and husband James of Lancaster, and Holly Funderburk and her husband Doug of Lancaster, 5 sisters, Marcene Adams of Fort Lawn, Linda Smith of Roanoke, VA, Betty Hanson of Lenoir, NC, Shirley Bigham of Great Falls, and Paulette Furr of Delaware, 8 grandchildren, John and Chris Threatt , Josh and Brett Wright, Zachary and Kayla Bradley, Gray and Taylor Funderburk, and 3 great grandchildren, Alex Sellers, Rachael Threatt, and Nicholas Wright. Mrs. Wright was preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Furr and a sister, Gail Sizemore. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Wright will be 3:00 pm Thursday, December 9, 2010 at The Chapel of Hartley Funeral Home by Rev. Dale Roach. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park. The Family of Mrs. Wright will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Wednesday December 8, 2010 at Hartley Funeral Home and the family suggests memorials to Hospice of Lancaster, 902 W. Meeting Street, Lancaster SC 29720.
