Death
Services for Philip Wesley Campbell, 62, of Kingsville, were held at Retama Park Baptist Church in Kingsville. Graveside services were officiated by Rev. Wesley Hodges, pastor of Necessity Baptist Church. He married Katie Lee Holmes. He was the distributor of Morton's Potato Chips at the time of his death. He had retired from the Gulf Coast Paper Company of Corpus Christi where he worked from 1960-1976. He was a member of the Retama Park Baptist Church where he was a deacon. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the US Army. Survivors: wife; daughter - Mary Jane Furr of Houston; two sons - Philip Eugene Campbell and Robert Dale Campbell, both of Houston; sister - Ruby Doreen Hill of Chanelview; parents - Mr. and Mrs. Paul E. Campbell of Breckenridge; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild.Endnotes
