Death
LIVE OAK — A funeral for Naomi Theresa Furr, 65, of Live Oak, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Valley View Assembly of God in Gridley. She died Wednesday, March 20, 1996, in a hospital in Fremont. She was born Sept. 29, 1930, in Limon, Colo., to Homer D. and Glays Emery McSchooler. She worked as a janitor for Del Monte for nine years, and was a member of Valley View Assembly of God. She also enjoyed crocheting and needlepoint. She was a Sutter County resident for 33 years. Survivors include her husband, James of Live Oak; six sons, James of Independence, Kan., David Clark of Sacramento, Mike Clark of Linda, Mark Clark of Susanville, Richard of Sutter and Rodney of Live Oak; two daughters, Doris Ferguson and Wanda Rice, both of Live Oak; and 19 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She will be buried in Live Oak Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Naomi T. Furr Memorial Fund, in care of Gridley-Block Funeral Home.Enterprise-Record, Chico, California, March 23, 1996
