Death

SHAWNEE — Roy Dean Fury, 28, died Dec. 25, 1993, unexpectedly. He was born Sept. 6, 1965, at Wichita, the son of Roy and Arlene Furr. A Shawnee resident for the past seven years, having lived at Buhler and Utica, he was a graduate of Utica High School. He was employed by Lenexa Business Machines. Survivors include: a daughter, Kaylen, of the home: parents, Shawnee; fiance, Jana Nolte, Olathe; four sisters, Patricia Stark, Moore, Okla., Paula Slater, Ponca City, Okla., Jacquelyn Pine, Turner, and Kristine Furr, of the home: grandfather, Benjamin Howe, Buhler; four nephews; and three nieces. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Mennonite Brethren Church, Buhler, with the Rev. Nick Rempel presiding. Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Buhler Mortuary, Buhler, and from noon to service time Tuesday al the church. Burial will be in the Buhler Municipal Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be sent to the American Lung Association in care of the mortuary.
