Johnny Ray Christy, 48 of Grouse Dr., Concord, NC, passed away on Monday, March 9, at CMC -NorthEast. He was born October 11, 1966 in Cabarrus County to the late Clarence Christy and the late Ruby Furr Christy. Johnny was educated in the Cabarrus County School System and was employed by Perdue for over 20 years. Services will be held Thursday, March 12, at Clark Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be 1:30 - 2:00 PM with funeral services following at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Those left to cherish fond memories include his fiancé, Virginia Kirk of Concord; two sisters, Brenda Christy of Landis and Ann Christy of Concord; step-daughters, Rosalyn Allison and Roberta Grier; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.Endnotes
