Death
Emma Jewel Plowman Clark, 80, of Albemarle passed away Saturday April 4, 2015 in Stanly Regional Medical Center. Her funeral will be 4 PM Tuesday, April 7, 2015 in the Stanly Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Potts officiating. The family will receive friends at Stanly Funeral Home from 3 until 4 PM prior to the hour of the service. Born June 21, 1934, in Stanly County, NC she was the daughter of the late Kemp Lee Plowman and Martha Furr Plowman and was a homemaker. She was a member of Homeland Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Kilmer Eli Clark. Survivors include sons Ronald Wayne Clark and wife Sue of Richfield and Anthony Dale Clark and wife Hope of Albemarle, brothers Ray Plowman and James Plowman of Albemarle and Carl Lee Plowman of Pensacola, FL, 3 grandchildren, and 2 great- grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Homeland Baptist Church, 1225 West Oakwood Ave., Albemarle, NC 28001.Endnotes
