Death

FORT MILL -- Mr. Cletus Hoyle Helms, 66, of Fort Mill died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2007, at his daughter's home. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, 2007 at Unity Cemetery in Fort Mill with the Rev. Ronnie Fite officiating. Born in Fort Mill, Mr. Helms was a son of the late Lewis and Margaret Furr Helms. He was retired from the U.S. Postal Service as a letter carrier. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam War Veteran. Surviving are two daughters, Heather Helms of Fort Mill and Amber Helms Adams and her husband Ken of Tega Cay, S.C.; three brothers, Roger L. Helms of Indian Land, S.C.; Ernest W. Helms and L. Harvey Helms, both of Fort Mill; and his grandson, Grant A. Adams. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Diane H. Hale and Elaine H. James. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23, 2007 at Wolfe Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Hospice and Community Care, P.O. Box 993, Rock Hill, SC 29731.
