ROCK HILL -- Ms. Margaret Dianne Hale, 64, of 2116 Surrey Lane died Tuesday, March 6, 2007, at Piedmont Medical Center. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, March 9, 2007, in the chapel of Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jerry Devinney officiating. Born in Fort Mill, S.C., Ms. Hale was the daughter of the late Lewis and Margaret Furr Helms. She was retired from Allen Tate Realtors as a real estate Broker - CBR. Ms. Hale served her country in the United States Army. She was of the Baptist faith. Ms. Hale was preceded in death by her sister, Elaine Helms James. She is survived by one son, Shane Hale of Rock Hill; one daughter, Michelle Garvey of Rock Hill; four brothers, Harvey Helms of Fort Mill, Wayme Helms of Fort Mill, Roger Helms of Fort Mill and Cletus Helms of Fort Mill; four grandchildren, McKinzie Hale, Zachary Garvey, Kirstin Marvin, and Taylor Marvin; four stepgrandchildren, Jessica and Jacob Garvey and Stevie and Meagan Rimer. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today March 7, 2007, at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home.
