Death

GREENSBORO - Vivian Mae Small, 81, of Jamestown, passed away Friday, December 1, 2006, at Beacon Place. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. today, December 3, at Hanes Lineberry, Sedgefield Chapel. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park. Vivian was born in Davidson County on March 20, 1925, to the late James Thomas and Bessie Mae Duncan Sowers, who did the eternal work of teaching her children about the realness of God and the saving grace of Christ Jesus and supported them throughout her life by prayer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas Charles Small, her son, Kenneth Marion Furr and three siblings. Surviving Vivian are her children, Mike Small and wife, Anne of Greensboro, Lynne Small Cox and husband, Eddie of Pilot Mountain, Chris Small, Tim Small and wife, Karen and Patricia Small all of Jamestown; two sisters; two brothers; and seven grandchildren. The Small family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
