LANCASTER, SC. Mrs. Lois Furr Hartley, age 80, died Friday, September 8, 2006 at Springs Memorial Hospital . She was born December 25, 1925 in Chester County , the daughter of the late Charlie Furr and Vermell Dennis Furr and was the wife of the late Isreal Hartley. Mrs. Hartley retired from Springs Industries and was a member of the Lancaster Church of God. Mrs. Hartley is survived by 2 sons, Jerry Hartley and his wife Joanne, Jimmy Hartley and his wife Faye, 2 daughters, Judy Gainey and her husband Ricky, and Pat Love all of Lancaster, a sister, Johnnie F. Hartley of Lancaster, 6 grandchildren, Brenner Hartley, Scott Parnell, Stacy Hydrick, Jody Gainey, Melissa Craver, and Mike Arant, and 10 great grandchildren, Dillon and Tori Hydrick, Neal and Garrett Faulkenberry, Katelyn and Amber Gainey, Shelley Craver, Derek Harper, Colby Arant, Chandler Cauthen. Mrs. Hartley was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Lisa Faulkenberry. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Hartley will be 11:00 am, Monday morning, September 11, 2006 at Hartley Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Lacy Jones and Rev. Jerry Branham with burial to follow at Lancaster Memorial Park . The Family of Mrs. Hartley will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 pm, Sunday evening, September 10, 2006 at Hartley Funeral Home, 1800 Charlotte Highway , Lancaster , SC and suggest memorial contributions to White Oak Manor, Patient Activity Fund, 253 Craig Manor Road , Lancaster , SC 29720 .
