Death
MOREHEAD CITY -- Glenn White Safrit Sr., 83, of Morehead City died April 24, 2014, at Carolina House. Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 28 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Concord with Ray Sipe and Don Deal officiating. Burial follows at the church cemetery. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Concord. Survivors include his wife, Nell Furr Safrit; son, Glenn White Safrit Jr. of Morehead City; brothers, Ray Safrit, Joe Safrit, both of Concord; and two grandchildren. The family will receive friends one hour before the service. Memorials may be made at St. John's Lutheran Church, 100 St. John's Church Road, Concord, NC 28026.
