Death

Floyd Carpenter, age 78 of Beavercreek, passed away Monday, October 31, 2016 at Soin Medical Center. He was born April 19, 1938 in Breathitt County, Kentucky. Floyd served in the U.S. Army and worked as a painter. He was an avid Cincinnati Bengals, Kentucky Wildcats and Nascar fan. He enjoyed time spent with his family, loved his dog, Diego and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother, Jettie Carpenter; father, Leslie (Dory) Carpenter; first wife, Magaline Furr; second wife, Imogene Page; sister, Lillian Larmore and brother, J.B. Carpenter. Floyd will be missed by his children, Dennis (Debbie) Page, Jettie Henson, Floyd "Marty" (Renee) Carpenter, Debbie (Robert) Baker, Jan Tyndal, Steven (Amy) Page and Shawn (Shalatta) Page; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Kenny (Cass) Carpenter; sister, Narma Jean Nichols and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, November 3, 2016 at 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Visitation will be held Thursday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the funeral home.
