Death
Monroe, Jan. 25. -- Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Agnes Wentz were conducted in the Mill Grove Methodist church. The pastor, Rev. Jesse Hipp, officiated, assisted by Rev. E. J. Hood, pastor of the Mint Hill Presbyterian church. Pallbearers were grandsons of the deceased. Mrs. Wentz was 77 years of age. Before her marriage she was Miss Martha Agnes Furr, of Union county. Besides her husband, Simon Wentz, she is survived by the following children: Mrs. Ed Long, Mrs. Will Haigler, of Allen, Morris Wentz of Kennedale, Texas, D. D. and S. J. Wentz, of Matthews, G. W. Wentz, of Atlanta, Ga., Lewis W. and Louis W. Wentz, of Allen, and one sister, Mrs. Mullis, of Charlotte, and 31 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.The Charlotte News, Charlotte, North Carolina, January 25, 1934
