Death
Cathy was born in Kerrville in Kerr Co, TX to Collin Teel and Barbara Louise Franks Furr. She was an executive secretary for Nabisco Company in Houston. She was living in Nacogdoches at the time of her death there. She shares a stone with her husband, Elwin Elmer Hogan. She was survived by her husband; her father; one son, Randy Wayne Hogan of Nacogdoches; one daughter, Lori Anne Hogan of Corpus Christi; two brothers, Duane Furr of San Antonio and Dean Furr of Richardson; three sisters, Colleen Mays of Elkhart, Connie Lynn Furr of Arcadia, WI and Jennie Hill of San Antonio. Her obituary appeared in the Palestine Herald-Press, Friday, 9 August 1996.Endnotes
