Death

Linda Furr Baruth. Ms. Baruth, 60, of Charlotte and a child of God, went home to be with her Lord on January 4, 2005. She was born February 23, 1944 in Charlotte, NC and was the daughter of the late Helen Clara Teeter and Dewey Croson Furr. She was a funding coordinator with Key Bank and retired from Bank of America with 30 years of service and attended Faith United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 8, 2005 at McEwen Funeral Service, Mint Hill Chapel with the Rev. Lynn Upchurch officiating. Interment will be in Sharon Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30-2:00 PM, Saturday, at the funeral home. Survivors include her daughter, Amanda L. Meaker and her husband Nathan of Charlotte, NC; brother, Gary Furr and his wife Pam of Fort Mill, SC and grandson Trevor, whom Ms. Baruth adored and who made her smile and beam with pride.
