Death
Mrs. Helen Teeter Furr, 66, of 1508 Chippendale Rd. died Jan. 11, 1988, at Charlotte Memorial Hospital. Funeral is 1 p.m. Wednesday at Oakhurst Baptist Church, where she was a member. Burial will be in Sharon Memorial Park. McEwen Funeral Home, Charlotte chapel, is in charge. Mrs. Furr, an Albemarle native, was a member of the Hazel Adams Sunday school class at her church. She worked for Chadburn Hosiery for 18 years and retired from Sears-Roebuck in 1987. Survivors are her son, Gary Furr; daughter, Mrs. Linda Baruth; brother, L.B. Teeter of Albemarle; sisters, Mrs. Eunice Harrington, Mrs. Margaret Burris, both of Albemarle; two grandchildren. Memorials can be made to Oakhurst Baptist Church, 5037 Monroe Rd., Charlotte, N.C. 28212.
