Death
Lee Ollen Morgan, 75 years of age, of Stanfield, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at his home. Lee was born July 10, 1939 in Stanly County to the late Tice Morgan and the late Clara Lucille Morgan Furr. He was also preceded in death by his son, Jimmy Lee Morgan; sisters, Dorothy and Peggy Jean; and brother, J.W. The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 3:00 pm, Sunday, March 8, 2015 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland. The funeral service will follow in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel at 3:00 pm. At other times the family will be gathering at the home. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Betty Ruth " Cookie" Wilson Morgan of the home; son, Jamie Morgan and wife Wendy of Locust; daughter, Kim Hauke of Stanfield; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, L.D. Morgan and wife Peggy of Stanfield; step-daughter, Pam Smith and husband David of Monroe; and step-son, Tim Cochran and wife Tina of Fairview. Memorials may be made to Indian Hill Presbyterian Church, 8349 NC Hwy. 200, Stanfield, NC 28163. Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is serving the Morgan family.Endnotes
