Death
McCONNELLS -- Mrs. Edna Mae Little "Maw Maw" Branch, 77, of 1167 West Chapel Road died Thursday, Nov. 30, 2006, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at Olivet Presbyterian Church, with Pastor Chip McArthur Jr. officiating. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Park on Cherry Road. A native of Waxhaw, N.C., Mrs. Branch was a daughter of the late Laurence E. Little and Mamie Furr Little. She was owner/operator of Maw Maw's Daycare in McConnells and formerly worked at F.W. Woolworth in Rock Hill. She was a member of Olivet Presbyterian Church. Surviving are three sons, Ronnie "Shakey" Steele of Edgemoor and Hugh "Freck" Branch and Kenny Branch, both of McConnells; two daughters, Debra "Debo" White and Ruby Lowe, both of McConnells; her brother, L.E. Little of Rock Hill; her sister, Ruby Williams of Rock Hill; 17 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Sunday at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel and at other times at the home of Ruby Lowe, 1889 E. Chapel Road.
