Death
Mrs. Ruby Lee Little Williams, 92, passed away Saturday, March 25, 2017 at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House. Mrs. Williams was born in Waxhaw, NC on May 24, 1924 and the daughter of the late Lawrence E. Little and the late Mamie Furr Little. She was a long time member of Neely's Creek ARP Church and a member of the Emma Echols Sunday School Class and the Caroline Boyd Circle. Mrs. Williams worked at various textiles mills and the Rock Hill School District. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, Benny C. Williams, Sr.; her brothers, Dock, Mark and L. E. Little; and her sister, Edna Branch. Services for Mrs. Williams will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Neely's Creek ARP Church, 974 Neely's Creek Road, Rock Hill, SC 29730 with the Reverend Matt Joldersma officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. Mrs. Williams is survived by her children Jenny W. Cole (William), Katie Williams, Benny "BJ" Williams (Anne) and Ernie Williams, all of Rock Hill, and Susan W. Hinson (Sonny) of Van Wyck; her six grandchildren, Derrick Worthy (Heather), Lee Korbus, Marie Leary (Allen), April Deal (Robbie), Jason Tinkler (Donna), and Trent Tinkler; and her twelve great-grandchildren, Pearson Munn, Ian Deal, Hailey Korbus, Cole Wages, D. J. Dart, Gracie Foster, Aislyn and Elam Leary, Addison and Ben Worthy, and Briant and Taylor Tinkler. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Hospice and Community Care for the love and attention given to Mrs. Williams.
