ALBEMARLE — Hazel Teeter Furr, 67, of 403 E Mason St, died at 4:59 p.m. Tuesday, Dec 22, 1992, in the emergency room at Stanly Memorial Hospital. The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Stanly Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Furman Wilhoit. Entombment will be at Stanly Gardens of Memory Mausoleum. The family will be at Stanly Funeral Home tonight from 7 to 9. Born Feb 22, 1925, in Stanly County, Mrs. Furr was a daughter of the late Mary Morgan Teeter. A retired employee of Wiscasset Mill Co., she was a Baptist. Survivors include her husband, Fred William Furr, and three half brothers, Clifford B. and Billy Joe Freeman, both of Albemarle, and Bobby Gene Freeman of Tennessee.Endnotes
