GREAT FALLS - The funeral for Mr. Michael Eugene Furr of 34 Dearborn St. was conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1 at Barron Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Fant Steel officiated and burial followed in Evergreen Cemetery. Mr. Furr, 40, died Tuesday, July 30, 2002, at Chester County Hospital. Born in Chester on April 28, 1962, he was a son of the late Baxter E. Furr and the late Geneva Perry Furr. He attended Chester County schools and was retired from Springs Industries. Survivors include a son, Michael Blake Furr of Chester; a brother, Sam Furr of Richburg; and four sisters, Betty McFalls of Fort Lawn, Darlene Tessener of Woodleaf, N.C., Robin Flenniken of Chester and Delores Millwood of Great Falls. Barron Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
