Donald Lewis Blythe, 55, husband of Margie Lynn Furr Blythe, of North Charleston, passed away Saturday, July 12, 2003 at a local hospital. Graveside funeral services for Mr. Blythe will be held Monday, August 4, 2003, 2 PM at Carolina Memorial Park. Born on October 29, 1947 in Franklin, VA, Mr. Blythe was a son of the late Stanley and Kathryn Porter Blythe. Mr. Blythe graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute, was a retired engineer from the Charleston Naval Shipyard and of the Methodist Faith. Surviving Mr. Blythe are his wife Margie Lynn Furr Blythe of North Charleston, one sister; Joyce Blythe Fillyaw of White Springs, FL, and one brother; Stanley Ray Blythe of Richmond, VA.
