Services for David Dewitt Furr, Illinois Central Railroad conductor, who collapsed and died downtown yesterday, will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Longview Baptist Church, Rev E. T. Smith officiating. Masonic services at the grave in Forest Hill Cemetery. Thompson Brothers Mortuary in charge. Mr. Furr, a native of Allen, Miss., moved to Memphis from Clarksdale, Miss., 10 years ago. He had been with the Illinois Central 36 years. He lived at 497 E. Gage and was 60.

Services for Donald Dewitt Furr, veteran Illinois Central Railroad conductor of 497 East Gage, who died of a heart attack yesterday morning, will be held at 2 tomorrow afternoon at Longview Heights Baptist Church. The Rev. E. T. Smith will officiate and Masonic rites will be performed at the graveside in Forest Hill. Thompson Bros. Mortuary is in charge. Mr. Furr, who was 60, collapsed with a heart attack at Third and Court at 10 yesterday morning. The veteran of 36 years service with Illinois Central came to Memphis from Clarksdale, Miss., 10 years ago. He was born in Allen, Miss. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Winnie Ruth Furr; three daughters, Mrs. Eugene Moore of Frayser, Mrs. Grace Stacy of Oak Ridge, Tenn., and Mrs. E. R. Stoddard of Boulder City, Calif.; a brother, L. M. Furr of McBride, Miss.; three half-sisters, two half-brothers, and seven grandchildren.
