Death
QUANAH, Texas (Special) — Corene Maggie Rogers, 85, died Wednesday in a Quanah hospital. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Knowles Funeral Home with Mike Marsais, Church of Christ minister, officiating. Burial will be in Quanah Memorial Park. She was born May 24, 1903, in Cooper, Texas. She moved to Hardeman County in 1931. Survivors include three daughters, Sandra Thompson of Amarillo, Texas, and Jo Jackson and Ruth Blair, both of Quanah; two sons, Robert Furr of Denison, Texas, and Don of Hereford, Texas; a sister, Elizabeth Hatton of Hugo, Okla.; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grand-children; and six great-great-granchildren.Times Record News, Wichita Falls, Texas, August 6, 1988
