Death
Thomas F. Furr, 77, of Lakeview died Wednesday (Jan. 27, 1993) at Baxter County Regional Hospital. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Easter Cemetery in Fordland, Mo. with the Rev. C. Waymon Hollis officiating. Mr. Furr was a Lakeview resident since 1989, formerly of Russellville. He was born on Oct. 25, 1915, at NcNeil and was a sergeant with the United States Air Force for 20 years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and married Virginia H. Mashburn on Sept. 30, 1974, at Alexander. He was preceded in death by both parents, Asa and Annie Hicks Furr, three brothers and three sisters. Survivors include a daughter, Tommye Thomas of Glenwood, La.; a son, Terry of Louisiana; three stepsons, Martin Wilson of Springfield, Mo., John Wilson of Sparta, Mo. and James Wilson of Nevada, Mo.; a stepdaughter, Helen L. Little of Ponce De Leon, Mo.; two grandchildren; 18 step grandchildren; 13 step great-grandchildren.
