Death
Teemer M. Furr, 74, died Wednesday in a Reno hospital. He was born Feb. 27, 1913, and had been a Reno resident for the past 16 years, coming from Johnson City, Texas. Furr was a restaurant owner-operator and an Army veteran of World War II. Surviving are his widow, Roberta, and sons, Jeffrey and Zachary, all of Reno; a sister, Myrtle Yarbrough, and brother, Otis, both of Alabama; and a brother, George of Virginia. Visitation is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Ross, Burke & Knobel Mortuary, Reno. Burial will be at Johnson City Cemetery.
