Death
Mrs. Lela Furr, age 71, of 106 Dover St, Pineville, N. C. passed away Sunday, June 18, 1967 1n a local hospital. She was born August 16, 1895 in Union County, daughter of the late William Cull and Renia Lee Owens Griffin. Mrs. Furr was a member of Stough Memorial Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday from Stough Memorial Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. J, Grady Faulk, her pastor, assisted by the Rev. David Wooten, pastor of Chantilly Baptist Church, with interment in Sharon Memorial Park. She is survived by her husband, Mr. E. R. Furr: two daughters, Mrs. Renia Bryant of Atlanta, Ga.; Mrs. Phyllis Moore of Pineville: two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Vick of Pineville, Mrs. Ada Furr of Fort Mill, S. C. and four grandchildren.
