Death
Mrs. Gertrude A. Brewer, 25, of 1215 East boulevard, died yesterday morning at 10:30 o'clock at a local hospital. Funeral services will be held today at 2 o'clock at the chapel of Z. A. Hovis and Son. Rev. T. A. Smith, pastor of Newell Presbyterian church, will conduct the services and burial will be in Oaklawn cemetery. Mrs. Brewer is survived by her husband, W. J. Brewer, her father, O. B. Furr; one sister, Mrs. William Campbell and one brother, Earl Furr, all of this city. Pallbearers will be Glenn Brewer, Morris Brewer, Harvey Phileman, Hynan Woodrow, Arthur Maulden and Paul Faust.The Charlotte News, Charlotte, North Carolina, August 11, 1935
