Death
THOMASVILLE, April 22. — Robert A. Furr, 29, World War II army veteran of Route 2, Thomasville, died Wednesday in a Winston-Salem Hospital. He was employed by, Armentrout Veneer Company here. He was a son of Dock and Mary Beck Furr of Route 2, Thomasville. Surviving are one sister, Miss Elizabeth Furr of the home and one brother, W. G. Furr of Maplesville, Ala. Funeral will be held at 2 p. m. Saturday at Mt. Zion Pilgrim, Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will remain at Walker Funeral Home here until Friday afternoon when it will be taken to the home of Furr’s parents.News and Record, Greensboro, North Carolina, April 23, 1948
