LOCUST — Mrs. Cossette Simpson Furr, 93, homemaker, died May 26, 1991, at Cabarrus Memorial Hospital, Concord. Funeral is 4 p.m. Tuesday at Locust United Methodist Church. Visitation is 7 to 9 tonight at Hartsell Funeral Home, Midland. Survivors are her son, Harold Furr; sister, Mrs. Jessie Tucker of Towson, Md.The Charlotte Observer, Charlotte, North Carolina, May 27, 1991
