Glenn C. Furr, 77, of Wilora Lake Health Care Center, died Tuesday, March 25, 2003 at Presbyterian Hospital. Services are private. Mr. Furr was born March 26, 1925 in Stanfield, NC and was a U.S. Army, World War II veteran. A son, Steve Furr, preceded him in death. Survivors include his son, Rick Furr and his wife, Marion; a daughter-in-law, Sharon B. Jamison; and grandchildren, Jennifer C. Cole and her husband, Brett, Richard B. Furr, Stephen J. Furr and Daniel J. Furr, all of Charlotte; and one sister, Shirley Morgan of Concord. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice at Charlotte, 1420 East 7th Street, Charlotte, NC 28204.
