Death
STANFIELD — Mr. George Roy Furr, 77, retired farmer, died Aug. 13, 1993, at Cabarrus Memorial Hospital in Concord. Funeral is 2 p.m. today at St. Stephens Wesleyan Church, Hartsell of Concord is in charge. Survivors are his brother, Luther Furr; sisters, Mrs. Faye Barrier of Mount Pleasant, N.C., Mrs. Margie Widenhouse of Concord, Miss Stella Furr. The family will be at Mrs. Barrier's home, 4826 Barrier Store Rd.The Charlotte Observer, Charlotte, North Carolina, August 15, 1993
