MOUNT ULLA — Mr. John Parker Turner, 78, textile retiree,died Aug. I, 1989, at home. Funeral is 11 a.m. Thursday at Thyatira Presbyterian Church. Visitation is 7 to 9 tonight at Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove. Survivors are his wife, Gladys; son, Tom Turner; daughters, Mrs. Barbara Griffin of Salisbury, Mrs. JoAnn Kerr.
