Death
CONCORD - Mrs. Mabel Furr Falk, 95, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Nov. 20, 2004, at Universal Healthcare in Concord. Mrs. Falk was born in Concord on March 6, 1909, daughter of the late Paul and Ethyl Furr. She is survived by two sons, John Falk Jr. and wife, Pam, Odessa, Fla., and Wayne Falk and wife, Kitty, Wilmington, Del.; five grandchildren, Lisa Faehl, Nashville, Tenn., David Falk, Jackson, Tenn., Jeff Falk, Palm Harbor, Fla., Cathy Galvin, Brighton, Mass., and Mike Falk, Davis, Calif.; and four great-grandchildren, Lauren and Allison Faehl, Nashville, Tenn., and Barbra Beau and Tatianna Falk, Palm Harbor, Fla. She is also survived by a sister, Ruby Barnhardt, Concord; and a brother, Paul Furr Jr., Concord. Friends and family are invited to a reception at Wilkinson Funeral Home, 100 Branchview Drive in Concord from 1 to 2 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 29. The funeral service will be held at the Wilkinson Funeral Home at 2 p.m. The Rev. Merill Perkins will officiate. Interment will follow the funeral service at Carolina Memorial Park in Concord. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Ann Street United Methodist Church, 335 Ann St., Concord, NC 28025.
