Death
Mrs. Frances York Furr, 87, of 1922 Lennox Ave. died Friday at Hawthorne Nursing Center. Funeral is 1 a.m. Monday at Ewen Funeral Home, Charlotte chapel. Burial will be in Evergreen City Cemetery. Mrs. Furr was a retired J.B. Ivey sales clerk. She was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church. Survivors are sons, Robert Furr of Valley Forge, Pa., William Furr of Concord, Joe Furr, Frank Furr; sister, Mrs. Mattie Mills; seven grandchildren; two great-grand- children. Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at McEwen Charlotte chapel.Endnotes
