Death
Mary J. "Nita" Goode passed away in Corpus Christi, Texas on September 17, 2010 at the age of 88 years. A lifelong resident of San Antonio she had resided in Corpus Christi for the past several months. Nita was born in Menard County, Texas on September 6, 1922 to Arthur Furr and Maudie Wilkerson Furr. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and five brothers. She is survived by her sister, Margie Griffith Tice (Bill), numerous nieces and nephews and other loving family members and friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 21, 2010 from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with interment to follow at Mission Burial Park South.San Antonio Express-News, San Antonio, Texas, September 20, 2010
