Death
Ruby Z. Stephens, 90, of Ingram died Sunday, Oct. 25, 2009 in her home. She was born on Aug. 26, 1919 in Ranger to Arthur Furr and Maudie Wilkerson. She was married to Charles Lee Stephens who preceded her in death. Stephens was also preceded in death by five brothers, Andrew, Cecil, Noah, Bill and Calvin Furr; a sister, Dorothy St. Leger and a daughter, Shirley Cride. She is survived by four daughters, Linda Rodriguez of Boerne, Sharon Jackson of Boyd and Patricia Shelley and Jenny Carpenter, both of Ingram; two sisters, Margie Tice of Corpus Christi and Mary Juanita Goode of San Antonio; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. A graveside service was held Wednesday, Oct. 28 at Carlton Cemetery.Dublin Citizen, 22 Oct 2009
