Death
PASS CHRISTIAN — Mrs. Ruth Lorie Furr, 53, 107 Palm Ave., Pass Christian, died Thursday, Oct. 9, 1986, in Gulfport. Mrs. Furr, a native of Bay St. Louis, was a member of Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church in Bay St. Louis, Pass Christian Yacht Club and was a volunteer for the Salvation Army in Gulfport. She was preceded in death by her husband, John G. Furr. Survivors include a son, John “Jacques” Furr III of Pass Christian; two daughters, Ms. Lorie Ann Furr of Pass Christian and Mrs. Mary Suzette O’Donnell of Norfolk, Va.; a brother, Jack Arnold of Bay St. Louis; and six sisters, Mrs. Helen Bordages, Mrs. Doris Vogt, both of Waveland, Mrs. Anna Bell Breerwood, Mrs. Joyce Kuylen, both of Metairie, La., Miss Judy Arnold of New Orleans and Mrs. Beverly Cassanova of Slidell, La. There will be a Memorial Mass Monday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church. Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis is in charge of arrangements.
